The Knights of the Unbroken Trail are a quasi-religious order based on the worship of Shade. They believe that most wrongs can only be righted by killing the wrong-doer and allowing the underdog to win. They pursue this goal in many missions and deeds as well as preaching against the evils of tyranny.
The Knights of the Unbroken Trail are more commonly referred to as “The Ugly Knights”. They believe that beauty in a person can only be used to subjugate the ugly. In an effort to keep themselves from participating in this, they shave their heads and typically dress in dour colors. It is true that many of the members are physically ugly, and it is believed that teasing early in life encourages the less attractive to join the order when they mature.
The Knights of the Unbroken Trail are based out of a stronghold northeast of Garnock. They are the enemies of Garnock and stand as one of the chief barriers between Garnock and the north. This of course takes its toll on the lives of the members of the order.
